Terms of Service
Agreement
NILDash is operated by Compton Group LLC. These Terms govern your use of the NILDash platform at https://mynildash.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how it is handled.
Who may use NILDash
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an agent account. Athlete accounts may be created for athletes under 18 only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and NILDash collects a parent or guardian email address for those accounts.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password private and keeping any mailbox you connect secure.
What NILDash does, and what it does not do
NILDash finds businesses that may be a fit for an athlete, researches a contact at those businesses, drafts outreach, and tracks the resulting deals. It is a tool for doing that work. It is not an agent, not a law firm, and not a compliance authority.
- NILDash does not guarantee that any business will respond, or that any deal will be signed.
- Research and contact details are gathered from public sources and can be wrong or out of date. You are expected to check anything before you act on it.
- Compliance rules differ by state, by school and by governing body. NILDash surfaces what it can, but you remain responsible for the compliance of every deal you make.
Outreach sent through NILDash
Outreach is sent under your name, from a mailbox you connect, to recipients chosen from your own pipeline. You are the sender. You agree that you will use it only for genuine business outreach on behalf of athletes you represent, and not for unsolicited bulk mail.
Every outreach email carries an unsubscribe link and a physical mailing address, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires. When a recipient unsubscribes, that address is blocked across the whole platform and cannot be mailed again by any account. NILDash also limits how many emails one mailbox may send in a day, and will not send the same recipient the same message twice.
Business activity shown on NILDash
NILDash may show that a business has completed an NIL deal on the platform, without revealing the agent, athlete, or deal terms. This is a fact about the business, not about any user's book of work.
Nothing read from a connected mailbox is ever used to create or show this, and nothing from your mailbox is shown to any other user.
Your content
Athlete records, deal records, notes and anything else you put into NILDash remain yours. You grant Compton Group LLC the permission needed to store and process that material in order to run the Service for you, and nothing beyond that.
You can export your data or ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to the address at the bottom of this page.
Payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on the interval shown at checkout. Fees are not refundable for a period already begun, except where the law requires otherwise. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email, or to contact anyone who has asked you to stop.
- Upload material you do not have the right to upload, including another person's contact list where you have no basis for holding it.
- Misrepresent who you are, or who you represent, to a business you contact through the Service.
- Attempt to access another user's account, data, or connected mailbox.
- Resell, scrape or bulk-export the Service's research output as a data product of your own.
Accounts that do any of these may be suspended without notice.
Availability and liability
The Service is provided as it is. Compton Group LLC does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and does not warrant the accuracy of research gathered from public sources.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Compton Group LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost deals or lost revenue. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and termination
These Terms may change. Material changes will be notified by email or in the product, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Compton Group LLC may suspend or end an account that breaches these Terms, or for non-payment.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alabama.
